I would like to share another of my recent recordings with you, this time the Italian Aria, O Mio Babbino Caro. This is a beautiful Aria that I have wanted to sing for a long time, and only recently learned. I was quite nervous about recording this one, but I am pleased with the result.

From the Opera Gianni Schicchi by Puccini (1918), this piece is about a young woman who is pleading with her father to allow her to marry the man that she loves, in a time when a woman needed her father’s approval to do so.
